Possible Strike Looming for 1,000 Marion County Workers
SALEM, Ore. — About 1,000 workers in Marion County are set to strike on Tuesday, September 22nd unless a new deal is struck.
The 2 sides have been bargaining for months but have yet to reach a deal. They are reportedly $400,000 apart with the key issue being health care. Another bargaining session is set for Monday. If a deal is not reach, there could be picketing in Salem and elsewhere.
