TxDOT: Weekend closures planned at Loop 1604 and I-10
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Drivers should expect major closures at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange this weekend as TxDOT continues bridge construction.
The EB and WB Loop 1604 frontage roads and I-10 mainlanes at the interchange will close from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, weather permitting.
All flyover ramps will remain open.
Drivers will be directed to frontage roads and U-turns around the interchange. Truck and oversize-vehicle drivers will have separate detours using the flyover ramps and U-turns at Kyle Seale Parkway and NW Military Highway.
TxDOT is urging motorists to follow posted detour signs and allow extra time through the weekend.
